Description The Storming of the Chew House, by an unknown British painter (c. 1790). Horizontal rectangle, trees at upper left, upper right shows Cliveden with light clouds above, foreground shows American troops holding two flags and four cannon, vignette of wounded man at lower left.

Fragment of old label on frame: "This P[icture] Vismes [H?]ome 1930".
